Juneathon: Take 1 [clack!]

It seems I’ll be doing less lounging around in patio chairs for the next 30 days. On a lark, I just registered last minute for Juneathon. As a personal challenge, I’m going to see if committing publicly to daily fitness with a “log it & blog it” approach will psychologically press me to work harder for the next month. Are there extra benefits to be had? Besides the obvious, like getting stronger & faster? Like… maybe I’ll lose weight from skipping meals, in order to free up the time it will take to post frequently? Or I’ll get to be a whiz-bang typist? Or I’ll sleep better cuz I’ll be drop-dead exhausted all the time?

Sounds like a win-win to me. And hey, if nothing good comes of this, I blame Mike. If you want some crazy ideas on how to push your physical limits, he’s definitely your man. Come to think of it, if all good comes of this, I’ll blame him for that too :-)

    Another benefit is the virtual running club aspect. The community is great.

    Awesome! The sleeping better is my favorite part. I should give something like this a try, only like, walking because running is some sort of supernatural skill that I’m pretty sure you folks had to make a bargain with the netherworld to achieve. ;)
